“Value in Detail” is a study in macro photography, focusing on the intricate textures and patterns found within stacks of coins. By isolating and magnifying these everyday objects, I aim to reveal the hidden beauty and complexity that often goes unnoticed in our daily interactions with currency. The monochrome palette eliminates the distraction of color, allowing the viewer to focus solely on the interplay of light and shadow, and the tactile quality of the metal.
